Data and Program Coordinator

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Data and Program Coordinator will oversee data management, program administration, and operations for our direct service programs. We are seeking someone who can see “big picture” and look at systems, processes and protocols to make recommendations to improve our work. The ideal candidate should have outstanding organization and attention to detail and must be a solution-oriented creative thinker. This is an ideal position for someone looking to make an impact in a growing, data-driven, entrepreneurial organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze participant progress, track results, provide data analysis, and create reports and dashboards for both internal and external audiences.
  • Manage our extensive database of contacts and organizations, which includes data quality analysis, adding and editing contacts, logging correspondence, and providing periodic updates.
  • Organize and input participant information via Salesforce.com, while adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and events, and share program goals and outcomes across the organization via staff trainings.
  • Coordinate the One Family Scholars program through all phases (application/enrollment, Scholar programming, and graduation) to support program goals and benchmarks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for One Family Scholars and prospective applicants, providing exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Make process improvement recommendations that are participant-focused and goal-aligned.
  • Coordinate and implement program components, including logistics for events, group workshops, and other programming.
  • Oversee programmatic calendars, e-mail accounts and SMS text messaging platform.

Program Associate

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Program Associate provides a mix of coaching (client-driven, goal-oriented, and forward-thinking) and counselling (providing resources, information and tools that allow for informed decision making) that helps participants in our direct service programs achieve their academic goals, access careers, build assets and move towards economic independence. The ideal candidate will be organized, enterprising, and equally capable of working autonomously and on a small team. Furthermore, (s)he must be solution-oriented, positive, and must be able to demonstrate keen judgment coupled with empathy. This is an ideal position for an emerging leader who is motivated to make significant contributions to shaping One Family’s programmatic work in the years to come.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and counsel direct service participants to: assess their existing skills and credentials; understand the earnings needed to support their family and potential family-sustaining careers; identify additional credentials and/or experience needed to enter an appropriate career and the costs associated; and develop a comprehensive plan to reach their career goal (including specific institutions, choice of degree or certificate, financing and timeline).
  • With support from the Director of Programs, refine and enhance the existing coaching framework for One Family Scholars.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of new pre-college coaching curriculum.
  • Create and develop workshops and trainings uniquely tailored to participants’ academic success, career development, asset development, leadership/civic engagement, and more.
  • Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and events, and share program goals and outcomes across the organization via staff trainings.
  • Track goals, analyze participant progress, and create reports and dashboards based on progress toward goals.
